ARCHITECTS+LAB is an architectural practice founded on the idea of addition. We understand architecture not as a simple outcome, but as a collection of research and questions accumulated throughout the design process. By adding function and relationships to the site, the program, the users, and the urban context, we consider enduring value to be at the core of our design approach.

The “plus (+)” represents connection and expansion, while “lab (LAB)” signifies an attitude of experimentation and verification. At +LAB, we read context before form and ask questions before proposing answers. Rather than presenting definitive solutions, we pursue architecture that adds better possibilities.

We believe that architecture is not a completed result, but a continuing process. By adding multiple layers of meaning beyond a single function, we consider both present needs and future use. Extending design into research, and architecture into environment and life, this is the “architecture of addition” that ARCHITECTS+LAB seeks to practice.
